Working at SPARC
I am committed to fighting toxic trends in academia - please see the academic-detox manifesto for a summary of this attitude. We are also not a high-pressure factory of fast papers. The key motivation behind SPARC is tackling cracks in-between the understanding of separate academic disciplines. This takes more time compared to specialized research within a single theoretical paradigm but we believe it’s also more fun - please keep this in mind when applying.
